TO THE PEOPLE OF SKID ROW
You are waiting to be housed. The city is waiting for you to die. Stand up, unite, and show the rulers we will wait no longer for our liberation! JOIN SKID ROW STANDS UP!
Mass Meetings: Saturdays 2 pm in Gladys Park, 808 E 6th St.
Points of Unity:
- The ruling class – the politicians, the landlords, the capitalists – are waging a war on the homeless. Thousands die every year and more are thrown on the street to take their place. Homeless people have a right to rebel by any means necessary to get the changes we need.
- We can’t look to the system to fix this. Charities, non-profits, “progressive” politicians don’t make it better and often make it worse.
- We rely on the people to fix this. We call on the homeless to unite, put aside their differences and fight together for our liberation.
- We are an organization of the homeless open to people of any race, language, religion, gender, sexuality, etc.
- We fight by recording, documenting, exposing and protesting the daily struggle of the homeless and stopping crimes against the people by the city, police and non-profits in its tracks.
