Donate to support activists working on the Spring Surge to Melt ICE. The Surge is a nation-wide mass movement to stop the deportations, free the detained, and to send the killer ICE agents to jail for murdering Renee Good, Keith Porter, Alex Pretti and others.
You will be donating to cover printing flyers, posters, buttons, shirts, travel expenses, and future legal expenses from bogus charges. We are working to expose and mobilize people against the repression that many students and activists are facing from administrators and police for bravely standing up against ICE. Student leaders have been visited at their homes by police and are facing expulsions and suspensions. Your donations will be used to send activists to link up with these students to help them mount a fight against this repression.
The Spring Surge kicked off in February when Dare to Struggle joined with students to lead high school walkouts across the country that confronted DHS agents directly. This will be followed by nationwide forums on repression in February, people’s tribunals to try the criminals who run the deportation machine such as Greg Bovino and Tom Homan, and ending with speak-outs in immigrant neighborhoods. All of this is designed to build the organization required to put an end to the deportation machine. All of this requires money.
