The two-party system and dead-end leftist organizations are leading peoples’ struggles nowhere. This summer, we’re holding a 3-day conference to bring people together who are serious about fighting the daily injustices of the American nightmare. We will share our experiences leading struggles rooted among people facing homelessness, gentrification, police brutality, poverty, and white supremacy. If you’re drawn to our organizing efforts and want to learn from us, come to our conference to chop it up with people serious about fighting for revolution.
This conference is not another leftist networking event.
We are inviting masses we’ve worked with — people living in public housing, the formerly homeless, those affected by police brutality — to come and speak about how we’ve worked together to mobilize oppressed people to fight collectively. We are also inviting friendly organizations and other individuals we’ve developed ties with to present on their efforts to fight the ruling class in the US.
We will hold sessions focused on how to lead mass organizing efforts, from planning protests and holding mass meetings, to learning how to build an organization with people committed to each other and the masses. We will strategize how to develop national campaigns around the focal points of oppression we’ve focused on: housing and homelessness, police brutality, and anti-imperialism. We will also spend a day going out in groups to the projects and the subways so you can learn from how we hit the streets to agitate and expose the brutalities of the system of capitalism-imperialism.
If you’ve checked out other organizations and you’re disillusioned by what’s out there, this conference is an opportunity to ditch all of that and learn how to join or start a chapter of Dare to Struggle, no matter your prior experience. If you’re part of an organization dedicated to fighting any of the compounding crises the masses face, and actually go to the people to carry that out, come to our conference to learn from us and offer us a chance to learn from you. Don’t waste another summer being led by forces chasing reforms and doing tepid shit. Come through to our conference in NYC in June to deepen your commitment to going to the masses!
